We are a design studio dedicated to reinterpreting Brazilian craft traditions through the creation of contemporary objects. We believe in the organic intersection of design and artisanship, the value of small-scale production, and the idea that the identity carried by craftwork is deeply connected to the culture and emotions of a people, reflecting the originality of each region.

Everything is in sync, in collaboration, and in community. They are a powerful and creative network of talented Brazilians—a collective that honors and preserves ancestral knowledge and memories while embracing, with lightness and generosity, our vision of reimagining their own traditions.

Our creations emerge from a unique collaboration between designer Nádia Resende, an expert in the History of Culture and Art, and Brazilian artisans. Nádia’s deep understanding of textile production techniques, her extensive experience as a stylist, and her roots in Minas Gerais, combined with her heartfelt appreciation for handmade work, inspired the founding of LEVA in 2020.

“There was a long-standing desire to transform everyday objects through craftwork, establishing a creative and natural dialogue between design and the diverse manual cultures of Brazil. Developing something together with the intuitive traditions of an artisan is more than a creative process—it’s a transformative one.”
