Mariana Baertl is a Peruvian textile artist based in Barcelona. With a background as a
fashion designer, she discovered her passion for fiber arts in 2016 and has since
developed a distinctive practice of three-dimensional embroidery.
Her work draws inspiration from natural textures, earthy tones, and landscapes,
translating them into tactile pieces that blur the line between painting and sculpture.
By layering threads and fibers, she creates organic forms that invite a slower, more
intimate connection with the natural world.
Mariana’s pieces have been showcased in galleries and commissioned for
international projects, from residential interiors to large-scale hospitality spaces.
Each work reflects her dedication to artisanal techniques, sustainability, and the
dialogue between tradition and contemporary design.
