Cassandra Julien is a contemporary textile artist working under the name Femme Couleurs. She currently lives in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. Through techniques such as tufting, weaving, and embroidery, she explores the textile medium with a strong emphasis on texture and color, which have become defining signatures of her artistic practice.

Femme Couleurs’ work is rooted in a sensitive reflection on the place of women in society, particularly mothers. Through her artworks, she addresses themes of invisible labor, unspoken expectations, and the silent norms imposed on women. Her approach highlights the strength, vulnerability, and inner richness of these everyday female figures.

Cassandra Julien’s work has been exhibited in several venues across Quebec. Now represented by Artêria Gallery, she participates in various international art fairs, notably in New York, Boston, and Singapore. Her work will next be presented at the Seattle Art Fair in July 2026, followed by the exhibition Voltage of Hope with The Pop-Up Project in Los Angeles in September. Through these events, Cassandra Julien continues to develop a sensitive and colorful textile practice driven by a deeply human approach.
