In 2013, Julie Robert discovered contemporary weaving in Iceland. Moved by the landscapes, she set aside her brushes and camera to explore textile as a medium. From her studio in the South of France, she creates monumental wall pieces combining natural fibers, traditional techniques, and organic forms. Architects, luxury hotels, and collectors commission her work for ambitious architectural projects. Attentive to spatial and aesthetic constraints, she designs custom pieces that enhance interior volumes. Constantly seeking new dimensions, she now incorporates ceramics into her compositions, creating a dialogue between textile, clay, and architecture.
